Jeremy has been a Lawyer for over 50 years. After spending 30 years practising as a Lawyer in Taupo, Jeremy moved to Ohakune in 1993, where he took over the practice of Harris Harvey Nash (now Nash Jordan Law). Jeremy’s practise primarily involves conveyancing, trusts, Wills and estates.

Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys  trout fishing, spending time with his Grandchildren and is an avid model train collector.

Joanna started her legal career in 2003, after graduating from Victoria University of Wellington. Joanna is the 5th generation to have a law degree from Victoria University of Wellington. Joanna’s practice covers a wide range of work, but primarily involves all aspects of Family Law and Criminal Law. She regularly appears in the Family Court and District Court in Ohakune, Taihape and Taumarunui. The Court appoints Joanna to act for children in family disputes.

Outside of work, Joanna enjoys riding her horses and travelling. Joanna has travelled widely, and has spent time living in both Hong Kong and the United States.

Rachel Colquhoun

Originally from Scotland, Rachel moved to New Zealand in 2013 and joined our firm in 2015. Rachel is currently studying to become a Legal Executive. Rachel primarily works on the conveyancing, family and criminal matters. She is also involved in E.P.A’s, Wills and Estates.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys skiing, spending time with her family & dog and travelling. Rachel has travelled all her life, and enjoys seeing new places whenever possible.

Jenese van der Westhuizen

Originally from South Africa, Jenese moved to New Zealand in 2013, and joined our firm in 2017. Jenese is our accounts manager and is in charge of making sure everyone pays their bills on time. Jenese also helps with the running of our office and can be found with a smile at our counter, and is the cheery voice you usually hear when you call.

Outside of work Jenese enjoys spending time with her family and loves the snow. Jenese is fluent in Afrikaans and keeps in regular contact with her family and friends back home. Jenese also helps out in the community with doing the local toy library accounts.
